Construction environment
(1)Construction is carried out in an environment where the air temperature is not lower than 5℃ and the road temperature is not lower than 10℃;
(2) The construction road surface must be clean, dry, and basically flat. After rain, the road surface must be dry for at least 24 hours before construction;
(3) The asphalt pavement can be constructed 10 hours after it is laid and the asphalt has cooled down. The new cement pavement can be constructed 20 days after it is laid and opened to traffic .
Usage methods and steps
(1)Pavement cleaning: The road surface should be cleaned before construction. There are floating objects and small pieces that are easy to fall off on the road surface.
Use a wire brush to clean it before construction;
(2) Apply primer: Open the adhesive cover and stir evenly; use a solvent-resistant velvet roller or brush to apply the adhesive to the ground evenly and in a moderate thickness. When applying , the adhesive should be 2-3 cm beyond the width of the marking line or sign . When applying glue on the ground, a certain amount of force must be used to ensure that the glue layer and the ground can be fully infiltrated, especially the glue at the corners of the label must be applied in place; depending on the thickness and uniformity of the glue, after normal application Leave to dry for 5-10 minutes before pasting.
(3) After the pasting is completed, pressure treatment should be carried out by rolling with heavy objects, beating with rubber hammer, and manual pressing. In particular, the corners of the label should be carefully beaten to ensure that the surface is fully bonded. If conditions permit , the effect will be better if the motor vehicles slowly pass through the fully pasted tape marking surface. When the ambient temperature is low, the pasted tape or sign must be baked with a blowtorch or liquefied gas fire and then pressurized for better results.
(4) After bonding according to the above method, it can be opened to traffic normally. However, the adhesive has not reached the optimal bonding strength at this time. Generally, try to avoid forcible tearing and peeling within 48 hours.
(5)If the label or sign has a local bulge, it means that the rubber layer has not been left open for enough time or the air has not been exhausted. You can use a sharp instrument to pierce the bulge, release the gas, and re-pressurize it.
Things to note
(1)When transporting, storing and using this product, please keep it away from fire sources or strong heat sources and try to ensure effective ventilation.
(2) After the adhesive used in this product is applied, the cover should be sealed in time to prevent the solvent from evaporating and becoming too viscous, making it inconvenient to apply.
(3)Road preformed reflective tapes and signs are effective for a long time without the base material becoming brittle. The adhesive used in this product has a shelf life of one year. If it exceeds the shelf life, it needs to be tested before use.
